On Monday we wento to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. The second Annika spotted grass she was off on a dead sprint. She was running on a downhill slope and couldn't quite stop quick enough and ran into a bush. So she suffered a few scrapes on her face--nothing major. I think all in all she thought it was worth it because there were no tears shed. Because the cold weather has stuck around so long this winter there were very few blooming tulips. It was a windy, sunny day and we were happy to eat lunch outside and enjoy being with friends. Annika loved running around with her friend, Taylor. It is so hard to take pictures of two two-year-olds and get them to look at the camera at the same time! Annika and I actually got a little sunburn on our arms! Yea for sunshine! Someday, this weather will be here to stay--the next day (yesterday), it was a cold 34 degrees with snow flurries. Happy Spring!

The Perfect Spring Weekend
The sunshine and warm weather graced us with their presence this past weekend and we took full advantage! It was a perfect weekend to watch some Red Sox baseball, catch a little bit of the Masters, and spend some time playing at the park. Annika was so excited to go on the swings and the slide. True to her independent self everytime we tried to push her on the swing she turned around and said, "Don't push me!" She didn't quite understand that in order to swing, we needed to help her. Aly loved sitting outside and playing with her favorite toy--an empty waterbottle. I am looking forward to more weekends like these.

I keep hearing about the bizarre weather in Utah right now, good job for taking advantage of it.
That Aly is a cutie...as is Annika. Speaking of underwear, Maddie and Sam were chasing each other and Maddie caught Sam and put a pair of used underwear on his head. Not pretty, and not picture-worthy
Oh...So true about the weather! I cannot wait for it to stick around! Sorry to dog the park! Looks like a good time! Taylor is dying to swing!
Isn't this weather crazy! Warm one day and freezing the next!! I love the pictures and all the pretty flowers! Your girls are so cute!
