About a month ago we packed our sack lunches and headed up North for a day full of fun. We started out our day meeting Tasha and going an open house at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH) in Murray. Tony was especially interested in what their facility offered because he is working towards a doctorate of physical therapy. Tasha is also planning on getting licensed to be a physical therapy assistant, so they spent a lot of time talking to people there while I tried to keep the girls under control. :) It was a lot of fun though. We were fortunate enough to catch the Jazz Bear (without waiting in the ridiculously long line, hehe) and get a picture. It made the couple hours we spent there worth it because the girls LOVE the Jazz Bear. Yeah! At about the half way point we enjoyed some yummy food samples they had in their athlete's kitchen. At the end of the tour we went into their operating rooms. The girls put on their little "blue marshmallows" and were able to touch some of the tools that the doctors use for their operations. Near the end Annika was really loving it and started pretending to work on the dummies they had set up. It was a lot of fun.

After TOSH we went across the street to the playground and ate our lunch. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed relaxing outside. The girls even started trying to throw their water bottles in one of the toys made for balls on the playground. It was a perfect lunch.

We met Ben after he got off work and split up. Tony and Ben went to the driving range, and Tasha, the girls, and I went to Gardner Village. We spent some time riding the ponies and petting the goats. While we were petting the goats Tasha turned to me and said, "Hey, that's Deron Williams over there." Sure enough. He was sitting outside with his family. They were sitting in a commons area next to a river, so we walked over there and the girls were playing next to him and his kids. Tasha got a pretty good picture of him (without disturbing his family time), but I was too much of a chicken to take a picture , so I let her do it. :) We were kinda laughing because here we were at Gardner Village while the guys were golfing and we saw Deron Williams. Not that it's that big of a deal really, but if you know Ben, you know he is a BIG Jazz fan, and BIG Deron Willams fan. I guess Tasha has seen him once or twice before, but Ben has never been with her. Ben's reaction to the whole thing when they came back from golfing was classic--way funny. Anyway, we spent the next hour or so walking through some different shops before going out to dinner.

All in all, it was a really nice Saturday to spend together, enjoying the nice Spring weather.
